Duravit Design Center

Philippe Starck has designed a characteristic, 19 metre high building for the Duravit Design Center that is both functional and practical. But Starck wouldn't be Starck if he didn't tell a funny story: he opens the front up towards the main road and places a three-storey high WC as an observation tower within the illuminated house section.
The office spaces need a sensible lighting as well. The TRILUX Offset does not only satisfy current standards for levels of illuminance. It fits into the futuristic construction perfectly with its timeless design, and in addition accentuates the architecture with its highly flexible range of deployment possibilities.
Visitors can enjoy the view of the Black Forest from the 12 metre high upper ledge. This iconographic trick makes the house unique, allowing the Duravit brand and its contents to become spacially visible: courage to design is the trademark of Duravit.
