When designing LED luminaires, our designers are confronted with a completely new situation: there are absolutely no limits. The effects that LED technology has on general lighting are inestimably large. Beginning with design: never before have luminaire designers had so much liberty in terms of form and colour. Conventional geometries, dominating luminaire design since the invention of electrical light, today make way for impressively organic, breathtakingly flat and uniquely decorative designs, in fact forms that have never been seen before. Which doesn't mean that you won't recognise a luminaire from TRILUX again. The only perceptible result is that in the future, New Light from TRILUX will be more functional, more diverse, more unique and even more beautiful. Which goes to show: LEDs make things possible today that many people thought were impossible a short time ago.
LEDs and freedom of maintenance.
Those who want to maintain LEDs have to do one thing in particular: wait, and wait, and wait. A person works on average for eight percent of his life. With an average life span of 75 years that makes a total of six years. It could well be that in that amount of time the lamp in his office doesn't need to be replaced at all, because our latest LED light sources have a service life of over 50,000 hours. By the way, this figure is not a matter of course for LEDs in general; the many years of expertise gathered by our engineers have made it possible to significantly increase the service life in comparison to other LEDs, thanks to intelligent thermal management from TRILUX.
What practical effects does that have? The phrase 'replacing a lamp' will remind you in future of times long since past.
LEDs and energy efficiency.
The effects of LEDs significantly exceed the room they illuminate. A long service life and low levels of energy consumption make LEDs an increasingly economic and environmentally friendly form of general lighting. And because we take our responsibility to the environment very seriously, we at TRILUX work daily to further improve upon LED luminaire technology. For example with optimised thermal management, newly developed, highly efficient LED optics and the use of latest-generation, high luminous flux LEDs.
